Does Splatoon require the same Call Of Duty like devotion, or is it more friendly towards the more casual gamer?
CAN BORDERLANDS 2 GOTY DLC STILL WORK IF PRE OWNED FULL
As a father and working full time I just don’t have the time not to mention I enjoy playing other games. I would like to try Splatoon 2 but don’t want to devote my life to it just to have any chance of being a decent player. I mean, it’s not like I’m bad at the game, I can win against the offline bots even on the hardest mode.

I have only once prestiged and it took me forever, yet loads of people do so within days of a new Call Of Duty release. I only ever get a chance to spend 30 minutes or an hour here and there playing video games, and can’t compete with the diehard Call Of Duty fans that seem to spend their entire waking lives online. The best I can ever hope for is coming second or third. I find other shooters, particularly Call Of Duty, massively annoying online and end up switching to bots. I was considering purchasing Splatoon 2 but dismayed to find it has no offline bots. Anything to force Bungie to make more effort is good. People forgive a lot when a game is free and I get the feeling this is the way they’ll try and go. One way round the problem could be to make it free to play. That’d be a one-up on Bungie.īut I don’t see how they’re going to compete in terms of gunplay, which has never been their strong point and yet Bungie are basically gods at. So the question is will Borderlands 3 be a Destiny clone or will it do its own thing? Should it do its own thing? I think the one obvious thing I’d expect from it would be a massive open world, which is what the original was trying to do but was limited by technology. I don’t think there’s ever been an explanation for why it’s taken so long, except maybe that Gearbox saw how Destiny was eating their lunch and realised that a third game was going to have to be massively different to compete. Telltale even mentioned it when they were saying why they weren’t doing another Tales From The Borderlands at the moment.

With all the talk of Destiny 2 at the moment it can only be a matter of time before Borderlands 3 is announced.
